Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Sinister processes information when you use the Discord bot or dashboard.

Data collected

Sinister stores Discord user IDs, server IDs, server configuration, XP, levels, virtual balances, moderation warnings, and timestamps needed for cooldowns. Discord OAuth provides your username, avatar, server list, and server permissions. OAuth access tokens are stored in server-side sessions while you remain signed in.

How data is used

Data is used to provide bot commands, moderation records, rankings, economy features, Linked Roles, dashboard authorization, and service security. It is not sold.

Storage and retention

Data is stored in a MySQL database controlled by the service operator. Session cookies are HTTP-only and expire automatically. Operational records are kept while required to provide the service or until deletion is requested where applicable.

Sharing

Information is sent to Discord when required to provide OAuth, bot, and Linked Role features. Infrastructure providers may process limited data while hosting the service.

Your choices

You can log out to end your dashboard session, remove the bot from a server, or contact Boucy Designs to request deletion of stored data associated with your Discord account or server.

Security and contact

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online system is completely secure. Privacy requests can be sent through the support contact published by Boucy Designs.
